Jolt Finder Help
Find Jolt
Simply enter the city, state or province, and country where you would like to find
Jolt Cola products. If you are outside of the United States or Canada, select "Other" as
your state.
Register
Registering as an official Jolt Finder is a painless process. Just enter your desired
username, a password, and e-mail address. Once registered you will be able to
add and confirm locations.
I ask for your e-mail
address so the script can mail out new passwords in case you forget
your password. If you forget your username, you are out of luck since I don't
feel like writing the "I forgot my username" script. But then again, if enough
people ask, I just might. For more information, see my Privacy Policy such as it is.
Login
To login, simply enter the username and password you chose when you
registered.
Add Location
To add a location to the Jolt Finder database you must first be a registered
user. If you are already registered, you must login.
Store Name
Enter the name of the Location that sells Jolt.
Examples: "Quikie Stop and Rob Mart", or "Mom & Pop's Corner Store"
Address / Location
Enter the street address or location of the store here, whichever you believe will make
it easier for someone to find.
Examples: "11811 Fusion Way" or "The Corner of Foo & Bar" or "Near the HWY 12 exit of I-5"
DO NOT put in a "fake" address such as "1 Fake St." to cover a chain of stores.
Please add a seperate entry for EACH LOCATION.
City
The entry form says "City" but feel free to enter either the name of the city in which the
location be found, or that of the borough, village, municipality, metropolis, town, township,
camp, station, constituency, port, place, suburb, metropolitan area, etc., etc., etc.
State / Province
Select your state or province from the list. If the location is outside the United States or
Canada, select "Other".
Country
Select the country in which the location is found from the list.
Products
Check the boxes next to the Jolt Products sold at the location you are adding.
Prices
Enter the prices for the various products in the local currency. If the location offers
different sizes of Jolt, enter a price for each size. If all they have is 20 oz'ers just enter
a single price.
Examples: "$1.35" , "12 oz: $1.00, 20oz $1.29, Espresso: $1.50"
Comments
Here is where you can shine as a Jolt Finder. The comment field is for any observations about
the location you are adding.
Confirm Location
If you visit a location that is in the Jolt Finder database, you may choose to confirm this
location. This basicly means that you have found the information in the Jolt Finder database
to be correct. If you have further information about the location you can use the comments
field to make your observations.
Edit Location
Editing a location is pretty simple. It will look like the Add Location screen,
with the current data displayed in the form. Just change what you need to change
and hit the "Edit Location" button. You must re-enter what products the location
carries when you edit a location. You can only edit locations that you have found.
You can see the locations you have found from the My Locations
page, and access the Edit Location function from there.
